Handcycling with RAMP
June 10 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
RAMP has a trailer full of handcycles in a variety of configurations to accommodate most riders. Bring your own cycle if you have one, or use one of ours (disabled riders have first priority). Ride as far and as fast as you like along the beautiful beachfront bike path (local speed laws apply ;-). WHERE? We will set up at the very north end of Bolsa Chica State Beach parking lot. There is limited free PARKING available in the public lot near Jack in the Box at the end of Warner Ave. This is a short stroll to the location where we set up. The entrance to the State Park paid parking is about 1 mile to the south, off PCH. Want to save some money? Check out the CA Disabled Discount Pass system at https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=29610 for discounts to Bolsa Chica and many other California State Parks. RAMP is completely volunteer run and we are always looking for cheerful VOLUNTEERS to help set up and break down our equipment. If you, or someone you know would like to help, please contact us and we’ll put you to work ;-).
