What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
We may also utilize third-party services for tracking analytics. These services may set their own cookies to allow this tracking.
Embedded content from other websites
This site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
At Amp’d on Life we may collect analytics about how users use this site. This may include things such as the device used to access this site, what sections of the site were visited and how long the user spent on the site. We do not currently share any of this analytics data with any third parties.
Who we share your data with
When you donate, we may share some of your data with our third-party payment gateway. This is only to ensure they have the information needed to process any payments required. This could be information such as your first and last name, user ID or key, and email address.
When you register on our site for an event hosted by one of our Partner organizations, we may share your registration details with that organization to allow them to administer your registration.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This also applies when you fill out a contact form or sign up for an event. This is so we can contact you as needed, based on your interaction with the site.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Most actions on this site, with the exception of donation payment (outlined below), do not involve sending data to other websites or third-parties.
When you donate on this site, your payment data is collected directly by our third-party payment gateway; Stripe. Stripe handles your data in accordance with their privacy policy.
Amp’d on Life does not collect or store sensitive payment information for any of our users. All transaction data is entered directly on embedded forms that are controlled by our payment gateway provider.
